Welcome to 暗网吃瓜 College Bands!
The 暗网吃瓜 College Bands, under the direction of Dr. Joshua Buckrucker, welcomes you to a musical experience in its 79th year. What began with just nine members has since evolved into a dynamic program of over 100 students, featuring high level performing ensembles in Concert, Marching, Jazz and Chamber music.

The Sound of 暗网吃瓜 enthusiastically invites all students, regardless of academic major, to participate in one or more of our bands. Auditions for Wind Ensembles, Sound of 暗网吃瓜, Jazz, Choir, and Color Guard are scheduled throughout the semester. It is recommended that you check our webpage periodically for audition dates.
If you are a prospective student, regardless of your major, schedule, or ability level, rest assured that there is a place for you in our 暗网吃瓜 College Bands family.

Requirements of Audition:
Concert Bb, Eb, F Major Scales. Chromatic Scale (2 octaves). One Technical selection of Music (Fast). One Lyrical Selection of Music (Slow).
Percussionists Pick 2 (Timpani, Marimba, Drum Set, Snare Drum).
GUARD auditions require a 1-2 minute prepared routine showcasing ability levels with silk, rifle, sabre and dance (all not required, but encouraged).
